Almost two years ago, I was seriously harmed by an MLM company's version of the hCG diet. I was also hurt by how I was treated by those selling the diet. It was a scary time and I was frustrated by how their distributors kept reassuring people that 'nobody has ever been harmed by this diet...unless they didn't do it properly'. I already know that wasn't true because I found other stories online about how people had been also hurt by the diet and were told the same things.
So, I shared my story online and I wanted to get my story out there because on the MLM's Facebook page, they deleted side effects stories. That bothered me a lot. Had I known what sort of side effects people were having, I never would have risked my own health with a product that I later found not only did not have any real hCG in it but was illegal.
At that time, somebody was posting about a site called Bubblews where I was told you could make a few pennies while sharing your stories. I shared a few posts about my experience and forgot about them. I guess it was about a year later when somebody else recommended the site that I decided to play around with it.
I shared a number of posts about various topics and made a few hundred dollars. Sadly, their business model was not sustainable which comes as no surprise. So, I am moving some of my 'favorite' posts here just to keep them.
And, that is the purpose of this blog. Perhaps after I add the posts I want to keep, I'll add more over time. For now, this is just my post repository.
